For a third consecutive year, Champlain College Saint-Lambert entrusted our team with the creation of their annual recruitment campaign. But this cycle was unlike any before it. With the lingering impacts of the pandemic and the absence of in-person events — no bustling hallways, no physical Open House — the college needed a campaign that lived entirely online, yet still carried the warmth, clarity, and ambition of their community.

What emerged was A New Season — a narrative framework that acknowledged the collective transition students were facing. This incoming class had finished high school behind screens, separated from the familiar rituals and friendships that usually mark the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. The campaign needed to meet them where they were, and guide them toward what could come next.

Our visual direction took a deliberate shift from previous years. Instead of vibrant, print-heavy material, we embraced a distinctly editorial tone. Clean compositions, restrained typography, and a quiet confidence defined the aesthetic. The minimal, modern approach became a metaphor for renewal — a signal of the new era the college was stepping into as education, technology, and culture continued to evolve.

Digital assets replaced traditional collateral, enabling the college to communicate with precision across platforms. Every piece was designed to feel calm yet forward-facing, inviting students into a space where change wasn’t something to fear, but something to grow from.

A New Season wasn’t just a theme. It became a statement of transition, resilience, and optimism — a moment of alignment between the story of the world and the story of Champlain’s next generation.
